The pictures in this page were taken on May 4,2009,in East Kazakhstan (locator NN19HX),during a field day in one of the many woods surrounding the town of Ust Kamenogorsk.
I took with me the Yaesu FT817 and the homemade interface for digimodes & CAT
The antenna was the homemade EFHWA ,cut for the frequency 14,070 MHz (PSK31),supported with a 10 meters fishing rod.
The most interesting QSO of the day was with JE2UFF,QRB of more than 5000 km,and less than 5 W in PSK31.
