During one of my frequent visits to the local hardware store,I've found some plastic "T's" in tubular shape, with an inner diameter of 25 mm.

As soon as I had one in my hand I realized that I could have used them as an excellent support for a wire dipole.

The peculiar aspect of this plastic T is that is coming in two halves, and that makes my life a lot easier when it comes to "squeeze" the PCB that will hold the wires into it.

This project is an "easy one",what you need is a small scrap of PCB board, with copper on one side only.

Cut a ring that will hold the PL259 female connector, and a T shaped support for the wires.

Etch two pads on the T shaped PCB,in a spot where it will be easy to solder the wires later on.

Mount the panel PL259 connector on the ring, with the copper side facing the solder side of the PL.

Tighten the locking nut and tack solder it to the copper on the ring, this will add some extra strenght to the support.
